Do Not Disturb is a 12-minute short film about two C-list actors from different backgrounds trying to film a sex tape and launch their careers in Hollywood.
FYI, this IS NOT a porno. It's a fiction film about two people making one.

Produced by Julia Kennedy Hunt, and written & directed by Hugo Ortiz Clemens, Do Not Disturb is their 4th film together as a producer/director team, and their undergraduate thesis film at The University of Texas at Austin.

Do Not Disturb offers a satirical, fun, and entertaining approach to “who makes it in Hollywood and why” through the sexual exploration of the main characters.

Although Isla, a Mexican telenovela actress trying to break into the American media, and Ryan, a former child star seeking respect as a serious actor, come from different backgrounds, they want the same thing: to be recognized for their work. Fortunately for them, society's fascination with the private lives of celebrities could serve as a tool in their search for validation.

This film attempts to not only be a funny and entertaining story but one that will make the viewer reflect on the negative trends surrounding the entertainment industry on both sides – as an industry and as consumers.
